Denean Dyson

A free-spirited mezzo-soprano with a passion for all things music, Denean R. Dyson is a versatile vocalist whose artistry spans classical, R&B, soul, pop, jazz, and musical theatre. A Las Vegas native, she earned her B.A. in Music from California State University, Fullerton and has since built a dynamic career performing throughout the United States and abroad.

Denean is a Grammy Award winner as a member of the professional core of Pacific Chorale and continues to be featured regularly as a soloist. Her performances in the Chorale’s acclaimed concert film projects—including “Precious Lord, Take My Hand” in The Wayfaring Project and “Holding Back the Years” in To the Hands—have earned widespread recognition. To the Hands premiered at the Newport Beach, San Pedro, and Culver City Film Festivals and has continued to receive attention on the national and international film festival circuit.

Recent performance highlights include appearing as Narrator and Older Pauli in the Los Angeles performance of Sincerely, Yours, Pauli Murray with South Coast Chorale and Trans Chorus LA, as well as lending her voice to the ribbon-cutting celebration for the new City of Hope Orange County comprehensive cancer center in Irvine.

Leigh Gibbs

Leigh Gibbs is a native Kansas Citian with musical roots in gospel, soul, and rock. Leigh has performed with many artists on many stages and enjoys supporting and promoting the amazing talent that comes from Kansas City. 

When Leigh isn't performing, you can find her at the theater, working in the community, or singing with her wedding band, On The One.
